Searsmont celebrates town's bicentennial

Searsmont — There was a large turnout at the Searsmont Community Center to celebrate the town's 200th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 9.

The day was filled with activities including a performance by Belfast Bay Fiddlers, a lobster feed and pig roast, and fireworks.
