There isn't any news or new events this week. Just to remind you to email or call me if you have anything you want posted by noon the Friday before the following weeks paper. It was a very sad and serene day on Wednesday, September 11th, as everyone reflected and was reminded of that horrific day in history. A lot of people shared their whereabouts that day. As for me, I was living in the Brunswick area, at a dentist appointment. At the time, Brian and I were preparing for a wedding on the 15th. He was out in the car waiting for me and upon hearing the news spread through the office, ran back out to the car hysterically. What a day I will never forget as will many. God Bless America!!

THANK YOU to everyone who has paid their tax bills in advance. The more money that comes in now, the less the town will have to borrow and pay interest on. Your payment will show on your bill when you receive it. As mentioned previously, if the school budget has not been passed by Sept. 24, the taxes will be estimated and the tax bills will be printed and mailed.
Tues, Sept 17, there will be a secret ballot referendum to accept or reject the total school budget. The vote will take place on the lower level of the community center. Voting is from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
