What a busy week, spring is certainly in full bloom!! The Memorial Day Parades in Searsmont and Liberty were fantastic!! It started out with dark drizzly weather but soon turned out to be a awesome day! I had 2 grandchildren on our church float which made it even better. We also won a prize and it was quite the event. Thank you to all who participated and were just there for the support. It is a great time to see all the Searsmont folks, we never seem to find time to visit or socialize with throughout the long winter months. We then went to the Veterans Cemetery to pay our respects to my father in-law, Donald Brewster who passed away on May 26, 2006. He served our country and we always miss seeing him at the parade. Thank you to the Parade Committee for your outstanding job once again on organizing and planning so well all year long.
