Another week in June has flown by. Seems we are always waiting on one season or the other and now its already into 6 months of 2014. Soon schools will be out, graduating class celebrations and summer camps preparing for the season.
Waldo County Firefighters Association is having a county-wide bottle drive between now and June 21st. The proceeds will benefit the 2015 Firefighters Convention--the first ever to be held in Waldo County. Bottles can be dropped off at Waldo Avenue Redemption Center in Belfast, 10-4 Store and Redemption in Montville, or MT Bottles Redemption in Searsport. Please let these locations know that your bottles and cans are donations towards the Waldo County Firefighters Association. Some local Fire Departments will also be open to accept bottles. Please check with your local department before going. If you would like your bottles picked up for donation anytime,or have questions, please call Lisa or Bill Gillespie at 589-3663. Thank you in advance for your support.
