It seems winter is threatening to come. We are a few weeks away yet, but hopefully by then at least it won't get dark quite so early. At least most days the sun has been out and it has allowed us to get more caught up on stacking wood. Christmas is around the corner, two and a half weeks away, then 2013 to come right after. I pray for all of our nations for things to come, may 2013 bring us more peace and joy. Also to the veterans who served at Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941, we thank all of you for your sacrifices.
Christmas will be here before you know it. Hunting licenses make great gifts. You will be able to purchase one for your favorite hunter at the Town Office or a variety of other places after the Dec. 15. Hunting season is here once again! Or you can go online at mefishwildlife.com, at sporting good stores, many convenience stores, turnpike service centers, or from the Department office in Augusta.
The Town Office will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe the Christmas holiday. The office will be open Monday, Dec. 31, but will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe New Year’s Day.
