Well, we haven't had our first winter blast as of yet, and for that I am grateful! Christmas will be just fine for me to get a nice “dusting.” Birds have been back and forth big time and enjoying being able to find the feeders still. We even had a day where at least two dozen turkeys paraded across our back lot through the driveway and back. Looking forward to their yearly presence.
Christmas will be here before you know it. Hunting licenses make great gifts. You will be able to purchase one for your favorite hunter at the Town Office or a variety of other places after Dec. 15. Hunting season is here once again! Or you can go online at mefishwildlife.com, at sporting good stores, many convenience stores, turnpike service centers, or from the Department office in Augusta.
The Town Office will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe the Christmas holiday. The Town Office will be open on Monday, Dec. 31, but will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe New Year’s Day.
Come join us for some good wholesome winter fun. Friday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. Bring your cards, boards and a partner, and expect a good time.
There be no meeting in December, will see you in the new year!
