Well, what a week we have had, with the snow and the awful roads. I am so glad it is almost spring, let's hope that groundhog was telling the truth!!

Town news

The town roads have been posted. Call the Town Office only if you see heavy trucks driving on the posted roads if soft and/or the temperature is above freezing. Trucks can still use the roads if the road is frozen and the temperature is below 32 degrees.

Animal control: As of Feb. 1, a $25 late fee will be charged to the owners of all unlicensed dogs. Owners of unregistered dogs should register them as soon as possible to avoid court costs.

Transfer Station reminders: Styrofoam is no longer recyclable. Please include it in your regular household trash. Cardboard must be clean and flattened. All packing materials must be included in regular household trash.

The annual town meeting is Saturday, April 6, at 9 a.m. Coffee and doughnuts will be available again this year, with the proceeds going toward the Memorial Day Parade.
