Known graduation losses: Alicen Brooks, Briana Grant, Kelli Gibbs, Allison Walker, Jaci Harriman and Libby Lane.
Significant impact players: Ogden, Chaar, Ward, Bucklin and Coffin.
Team strengths: Speed and ability to use the entire field.
Team goal: To improve every day the team takes the field.
Top league opponents: Dexter, Greenville and Rangeley.
Outlook: The Vikings lost six impact players from last year's team, but this season's squad is “young, but hungry,” which coach Robertson hopes will translate into another run in the postseason.
“They worked hard this summer and are continuing to put the work in this preseason,” he said. “We have girls in different roles this fall, so we are still in the adjustment stage. But by the end of the season, a top-four playoff spot and a home playoff game [is what we are aiming for].”
