Searsport police blotter
Searsport — Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following recent activity.
Nicholas Demerchant, 31, of Monroe, seat belt violation.
Alfred Miliano, 61, of Almeda, Calif., criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye said Miliano was arrested after a deputy from Waldo County Sheriff's Office arrived at a property on Black Road South to serve Miliano with civil paperwork, after which Miliano allegedly threatened to run the deputy over with his tractor.
Erik Miller, 34, of Searsport, inadequate tires.
Loring Ripley, 22, of Northport, alleged speed 54 mph in a 25 mph zone, invalid inspection sticker.
Shelly Salisbury, 35, of Belfast, violating conditions of release.
Joshua M. Pomeroy, 25, of Searsport, burning prohibited materials, outdoor burning without a permit.
Shane Sauer, 21, of Frankfort, alleged speed 63 mph in a 45 mph zone, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arlene Hooper, 48, of Searsport, inspection sticker violation.
Kathryn Wright, 62, of Brooks, alleged speed 44 mph in a 25 mph zone.
