Searsport — Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following recent activity.

Feb. 6

Shannon McDermott, 50, of Prospect, was summoned for speeding for driving 30 mph in a 15 mph school zone.

Aaron Neville, 39, of Harmony, operating with an expired license for greater than 90 days.

Feb. 7

Robert Johnson, 51, of Searsport, violating conditions of release, operating after suspension, operating an unregistered vehicle.

Feb. 8

Joshua Bucklin, 32, of Bucksport, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Feb. 13

Frederick Walton, 52, of Searsport, operating after suspension.

The police department would like to remind citizens to keep vehicles off the roadside for snow removal purposes and encourage residents to watch local weather forecasts so they can plan accordingly.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
