Tuesday, Nov. 20, starting at 7 p.m., the regular meeting of the selectmen will take place in the Town Hall. This meeting will be televised.
Wednesday, Nov. 21, starting at 6:30 p.m., the Board of Appeals will meet in the Town Hall. This meeting will be televised.
Wednesday, Nov. 21, starting at 7 p.m., the North Station Committee will meet in the Dan Rich Public Safety Building.
Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 & 23, the Town Offices will be closed to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, the Lions Club will offer a free Thanksgiving dinner to all interested people at their club on Prospect Street from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, if needed, Nov. 26, 27, 28 & 29, the Planning Board will be holding a public hearing on an application by DCP Searsport, LLC. These public hearings will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held in the cafeteria of the Searsport District High School. Because Channel 7's ability to broadcast live is now limited to the Town Hall only, the public hearings will be recorded for broadcast later (about 48 hours) on Channel 7.
Tuesday, Nov. 27, starting at 6 p.m., the Waldo County Budget Committee will meet with the County Commissioners to continue with the 2013 budget.
Tuesday, Dec. 4, starting at 7 p.m., the selectmen will hold their regular meeting in the Town Hall. This meeting will be televised.
Monday, Dec. 10, starting at 6:30 p.m., the Planning Board will hold its regular meeting in the Town Hall. This meeting will be televised.
A reminder that the Warm Coat Project in Waldo County is still taking clean winter items in good condition. Donations will be accepted through the first week of December and can be dropped off at the Dan Rich Public Safety Building.
