Second Thursdays at The Apprenticeshop: Dominick Jones

By The Apprenticeshop | Mar 11, 2014

Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 pm, The Apprenticeshop hosts a reading and discussion with tall ship captain and author Dominick Jones. Join us to hear Jones read from his most recent book, All At Sea: Twenty Years At The Helm Of Tall Ships.

All At Sea is the true story of how Jones came to be captain of the Baltic Trader Schooner Grey.  After 20 years of sailing tall ships professionally (13 of which were spent living aboard) he has crossed oceans, survived hurricanes and visited many foreign shores.

Jones was educated at Eton College and Oxford. He then went on to work in the news industry for 14 years before making the shift to tall ship captain. Jones brings a concise voice to his writings and delivers engaging talks on the subjects he is most passionate about, sailing and adventuring.
