Shannon Kinney of DreamLocal Digital To Speak on Personal and Professional Uses of Social Media at URock

Shannon Kinney of DreamLocal Digital, a national figure in the uses of social media, will speak on changes in social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn on Monday, October 1 at noon at URock, Kinney will make suggestions on how to harness these changes to help you build a successful professional presence online.  How is social media changing?  How does the world find information now -- information about businesses and information about you? What is the distinction between social media for personal use and social media for professional use?  How can you use social media to build a professional identity and find a job?  Kinney will answer these questions and facilitate discussion in a one-hour presentation.
