‘Small Works’ at Galerie Dufour

Belfast — The downtown Galerie Dufour will host a holiday season reception Friday, Dec. 7 as part of the city’s final Friday Art Walk of 2012 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Galerie Dufour features fine art photography by Charles Laurier Dufour. “Small Works 2012” is a retrospective of the 2012 season with dozens of Dufour’s finest pieces matted and framed in smaller sizes than originally exhibited. A few new works also will be presented.

Dufour’s artwork received a number of awards in 2012 including First Place B/W Category at L/A Arts’ annual “Through the Lens” exhibit and Third Place B/W Category at the “Maine Photography Show.” Online juried exhibitions also recognized the work including Maine Art Scene’s annual virtual show, the international Black and White Spider Awards and the international Masters Cup of Color Photography.
