‘Spring Exhibition 2017’ calls for work
Rockland — Asymmetrick Arts and Black Hole have announced the “Spring Exhibition 2017,” an open submission art show to be held in both Main Street galleries in May.
The two galleries will begin their 2017 season with this third gallery collaborative, group exhibition designed to encourage and promote contemporary, creative and vibrant work. Last year's show was curated from more than 300 entries from more than 75 artists.
“Spring Exhibition 2017” will provide an opportunity for artists to exhibit in, and work with, two of the town's established art destinations and will run May 5 through 27. An independent jury (to be confirmed) will select work from submissions in all media and subjects, and the show will be designed and installed by a co-curatorial team.
The closing date for submissions is Sunday, March 26, with exceptional entries from all artists encouraged. For more information, visit blackholegallery.com; or contact Asymmetrick Arts at 594-2020 or Black Hole at 400-2957.
