“Technology Petting Zoo” Comes to Carver Memorial Library
Not sure which e-reader or tablet is right for you? Get some hands-on help making that decision and learn how to load your device with downloadable content with the Maine State Library “Technology Petting Zoo,” hosted by Carver Memorial Library.
E-books and tablets are growing in popularity and devices are widely available, with many different types to choose from. In order to provide hands-on access and training, the Maine State Library created a "Technology Petting Zoo" of devices -- which includes samples of different types of e-readers and tablets.
The devices are available to view, handle, and evaluate at Carver Library from May 29 to June 5.
On June 5 at 6:30 pm Maine State Library Technology Coordinator, Jared Leadbetter will lead a presentation at the library, offering more information about each device, and answering your technology questions.
Carver Memorial Library is located at 12 Union Street in Searsport. For more information contact 207-548-2303 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All library events are free and open to the public.
