Judith Orme, MSW, is presenting the next parenting talk in her free four part series in Camden on Wednesday, October 10, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Children's House Montessori School, 58 Elm Street. The subject of this presentation is "Temperament: What is it and Why is it Important to Understand?"

Temperament is the how of behavior. Understanding the nine criteria of temperament, shaping each child's basic self, helps us be better parents, caregivers and teachers. The nine essential traits of temperament are essential in recognizing how a child will react to given situations. In this hour long presentation, Judith will discuss each of these criteria, how to understand and utilize individual temperament profiles and provide an overview of parenting tools to respond to our child's behavior effectively and compassionately.

This presentation is open to all community parents, and there is no charge, but advance sign up is required by calling Judith Orme at 603-801-6382.
