Tibetan Buddhist scholar visits Belfast
Belfast — The Dharmata Foundation will present an evening with Tibetan Buddhist scholar and teacher Anam Thubten Sunday, May 25, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast, 37 Miller St. Attendees are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early so the space will be quiet and peaceful at 7 p.m. when Thubten will begin a dharma teaching.
Thubten is a well-loved teacher in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and author of "No Self, No Problem" and "The Magic of Awareness." During the teaching, he will invite participants to practice silence and self-inquiry. He will emphasize awakening to the truth of enlightenment already present in all.
