Carrabassett Valley — The Maine Outdoor Film Festival and Sugarloaf  ski area are partnering to launch the first-ever Winter Broke and Stoked contest. The contest is open to any Maine resident, professional filmmaker or amateur.

The 10 finalist films will premiere April 1 at the Avery Ballroom at Sugarloaf Inn, then put online the next day. Voting online will happen for two weeks and then the winner will be announced at the East Coast Pond Skimming Championships on April 15.
