Searsport — Locals started the day with rowboat races and a parade that featured hot rods, antique vehicles, horses and some other rather unusual modes of transportation Wednesday, July 4.

While the fog was cause for town officials to cancel the scheduled fireworks show Wednesday night, town officials rescheduled the event for 9 p.m. Friday, July 6.
