UMaine Hutchinson Center Offering Fall 2014 Scholarships and Academic Advising

Belfast, Maine –Registration is open for fall courses being offered through the University of Maine Division of Lifelong Learning at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast. Over 150 undergraduate and graduate courses, both live and via distance education (online, ITV and videoconferencing) are offered throughout the fall semester beginning September 2, 2014. The deadline to apply for a Hutchinson Center Scholarship is August 19, 2014.  Scholarship applications are available on line at www.hutchinsoncenter.com or at the Center.  To meet with an academic advisor or to register, call the UMaine Hutchinson Center at 338-8000 or toll-free at 800-753-9044.

Some of the courses offered this fall term at the Hutchinson Center include: BIO222: Biology, the Living Science and Lab, CHY101: Chemistry of Everyday Living with Lab, ART 230: Painting I, II and III, ENG101: College Composition, HTY103: US History I, HTY278: American Military History, MAT101: The Nature and Language of Mathematics, MAT122:  Pre-Calculus, PSY100: General Psychology, PSY 244: Psychology of Adolescence, and PSY 230: Social Psychology.
