Unity Town News
In my world
I took the girls to the vet last weekend. Gypsy’s got the worst knees that vet has ever seen. It’s not new news; that’s the third vet who has told me that. He said we should prepare ourselves for the day she loses use of her back legs. For now, she compensates well and I’ve been having her swim more for easy exercise on her legs. As for Scout, even though I’ve always been up to date on her vaccinations, she tested positive for Lyme disease. The vet said it’s very rare, and something about how a very small number of dogs are resistant to the vaccine so this can happen. She’s on doxycycline for the next month. Hopefully that helps. On a better note, Scout finally learned to swim this weekend!
