Up to 20 original Shelby Cobras to visit Owls Head Transportation Museum Wednesday morning
On Wednesday, September 11, the Owls Head Transportation Museum will host a group of approximately 20 Shelby Cobras. A group of Cobra owners traveling from the Saratoga Automobile Museum will conclude a multi-day driving tour at the Museum.
These ultra rare, original 289 and 427 Shelby Cobras will be available for viewing while the drivers explore the museum. The short visit and opportunity for the public to view the vehicles will extend for approximately one hour, from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday.
The organizing member of the group, Tom Cotter, is a renowned Cobra aficionado and a regular contributor to Road and Track and The New York Times. Cotter is also an author of multiple books, including “The Cobra in the Barn.”
