Vocal harmony and more swing in Unity

May 09, 2017
The Vintage Vocal Quartet

Unity — The Vintage Vocal Quartet will perform Saturday, May 20, at 7 p.m. at the Unity College Center for Performing Arts, 42 Depot St.

The Vintage Vocal Quartet brings to life the sweet harmonies of the big band era, evoking groups such as Glenn Miller Orchestra's Modernaires, the Nat King Cole Trio, the Delta Rhythm Boys, the Andrews Sisters and the Tommy Dorsey Band's Pied Pipers. The four singers also play instruments, so they pack a big sound into a small package.

Members of Vintage Vocal Quartet are: Taylor O'Donnell, soprano/piano; David Thorne Scott, alto/bass; Daniel Henderson, tenor/trumpet; and Paul Pampinella, baritone/guitar.

Tickets, $15, are general admission and non-refundable. They can be reserved at uccpa.unity.edu. Pre-ordered tickets are "will call" and will be available to pick up under the purchaser’s name the night of the show.
