Waldo County Republicans hold grand opening ceremony

Belfast — Local officials, candidates and residents gathered at the Waldo County Republican headquarters for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Sept. 14.

The ceremony kicked off with a brief speech from Republican U.S. Senate candidate Charlie Summers, who thanked everyone for attending and encouraged residents to vote in the election before cutting the ribbon.

The headquarters is open Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m,; Tuesday from noon. to 2 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.; Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Candidate contact information and political signs are available for pickup at the headquarters, which is located on Church Street across from City Hall in Belfast.
