Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity.
Patrick Smith, 31, of Montville, was headed east on Thompson Rodge Road in a 2012 Chevrolet when he struck a deer that ran into his path of travel. The collision caused an estimated $2,000 worth of damage to Smith's vehicle, and killed the deer on impact. Smith refused medical treatment at the scene, and the deceased deer was given to Smith.
Randolph Dodge, 44, of Burnham, aggravated domestic violence assault, terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence reckless conduct, obstructing the report of a crime or injury.
David Harrington, 23, of Washington, alleged speed 49 mph in a 40 mph.
Christina Feener, 19, of Morrill, operating after suspension, failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to register a motor vehicle for between 30 and 150 days.
Patti Braley, 41, of Morrill, alleged speed 65 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Kurt Quint, 23, of Lincolnville, operating after suspension.
Roland Singer, 19, of Liberty, possession of a usable amount of marijuana, violating conditions of release.
Joseph Lizotte, 33, of Alton, inspection sticker violation.
Maynard Warman, 73, of Belmont was preparing to exit the Maritime Farms Store parking lot in Belmont by turning left onto Augusta Road, According to the crash report, Warman did not see any traffic approaching so he began making his turn. Meanwhile, 53-year-old Ingrid Anderson of Portland was traveling west on Augusta Road in a 2010 Toyota and was unable to avoid colliding with Warman's vehicle as Warman pulled out of the lot. The passenger front corner of Warman's vehicle struck the driver side front corner of Anderson's car. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, with combined damages estimated at $10,000. Both drivers denied medical treatment, according to the report.
Roland Singer, 19, of Liberty, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a usable amount of marijuana, refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
Shawn Maxfield, 31, of Knox, two counts of violating conditions of release.
David Webber, 43, of Knox, operating after suspension. Webber was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
