At 9:15 a.m. Deputy Jonathan Shaw responded to Detroit Road in Troy for a two-vehicle crash. A 2004 Chevrolet passenger car driven by Siirin Pinkham, 18, of Montville, was traveling north on Detroit Road when Pinkham quickly came upon a vehicle attempting to turn into a driveway.

Pinkham attempted to go around the turning vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet passenger car, which was driven by Meagana Bean, 30, of Thorndike, but Bean was turning left and the two vehicles collided, according to Shaw's crash report.

Pinkham's vehicle sustained damage to the rear passenger quarter panel and Bean's vehicle sustained damage to the front driver corner.

Neither Pinkham or his passenger, Ashlyn Parker, were injured. Bean and her passenger, Heidi Zimolka also avoided injury.
