Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity:

July 2

Kylie Sands, 18, of Dover Foxcroft was summoned for speeding for driving 64 mph in a 45 mph zone.

July 3

Branden Galloway, 21, of Liberty, violating conditions of release, sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

Devon Ricker, 23, of Jackson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines and was also summoned on a charge of operating after suspension in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred in Unity June 15.

Joshua Cunningham, 25, of Monroe, operating after suspension.

July 5

Samuel Thorndike, 18, a transient, possession of alcohol by a minor.

July 6

Bryan K. Lewis, 51, of Winterport, failure to stop for a police officer.

Elwin Weeks, 46, of Liberty was summoned for speeding for driving 74 mph in a 45 mph zone.

July 7

Elisabeth Bormet, 30, of Belfast, failure to register vehicle for between 30 and 150 days, failure to provide proof of insurance.

Christopher Hebert, 34, of Belmont was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines and fees.

Jeffrey Mosher, 39, of Northport, operating under the influence.

July 8

Reid A. Frank, 42, of China, exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more.

David Weaver, 69, of Islesboro, inspection sticker violation.

Randy Witham, 18, of Freedom, possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

July 9

Arthur Gardiner, 60, of Swanville, violating conditions of release, marijuana cultivation, possession of a firearm by a felon.

Thomas A. Andrews, 49, of Northport, criminal trespass.

Melinda Way, 34, of Northport, hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Christopher Lawrence, 30, of Belfast, probation revocation.

Kyle Knox, 26, of Searsmont was traveling east in the Moody Mountain Road in Searsmont in a 2008 Ford pickup when a deer crossed the road ion front of him. Knox could not avoid hitting the deer.

A 16-year-old female from Lincolnville was stopped at the stop sign at the end of the Heal Road in Lincolnville in a 2000 Jeep. The youth was waiting to go across Main Street onto the Belfast Road. When she pulled out to cross the intersection, the juvenile told police she did not see Susan E. Bergson, 36, of Katonah, N.Y. driving through the intersection on Main Street. The juvenile struck Bergson's vehicle in the left rear. No one was hurt.

July 10

Kristin E. Wentz, 22, of Searsport, failure to stop at a stop sign.
