Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity:

Nov. 26

Christopher Whitcomb, 35, of Monroe, sexual abuse of a minor, violating conditions of release.

Nov. 27

Joseph McBride, 24, of Brooks was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Nov. 28

Rene M. Davis, 44, of Frankfort was headed south on Boston Road in Winterport in her 2008 Ford SUV when her vehicle left the road, struck a mailbox  and skidded into a ditch. From there, the SUV continued traveling in the ditch before returning to the road, crossing the entire roadway and going off the northbound side. The vehicle came to rest after striking a tree. Waldo County Chief Deputy Jeff Trafton said Davis was not seriously hurt in the accident.

Joseph E. Lemay, 41, of Bucksport was driving along Route 1 in Stockton Springs in his 2011 Toyota pickup when a deer ran into his lane of travel. Lemay could not avoid striking the animal, but he was not hurt in the crash.

Nov. 29

Michael Collins, 31, of Frankfort was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

Charles Collins, 33, of Frankfort, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Dec. 1

Jeffrey Parenteau, 27, of Swanville, operating an unregistered vehicle for less than 150 days.
