Waldo County Sheriff's blotter
Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity.
Kelly Bryant, 32, of Bucksport, operating after suspension.
Mark E. Bolster, 27, of Clinton, failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to register vehicle for less than 150 days.
Mindi Peavey-Webster, 35, of Brooks was headed north on North Palermo Road in Freedom in a 1999 GMC when she lost control in some slush and over-corrected. That action sent the vehicle airborne over a driveway entrance and then into a nearby wooded area, where the vehicle came to rest after hitting several trees. The GMC was towed because of disabling damage. Peavey-Webster, as well as two 14-year-old males and a 1-year-old child, all passengers in the vehicle, escaped the accident unharmed.
Jamie Mitchell, 34, of South Portland, was headed east on Route 3 in Searsmont in a 2001 Ford SUV when she lost control on the slushy road surface. The vehicle went sideways in the road. That caused a second driver — 24-year-old Ryan P. Martin of Belfast — to run into the rear quarter panel of the Mitchell vehicle. Martin was driving a 2006 Subaru. No one was hurt, but both vehicles sustained damage.
Gary Schiche, 32, of Frankfort was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines and fees.
William J. Chadwick, 26, of Liberty, operating under the influence.
Bethany Z. Hendrix, 35, of Ormond Beach, Fla., operating under the influence.
Richard Gilliland, 26, of Benton, failure to register vehicle.
Christopher King, 25, of Searsport, assault.
Jerry Tucker, 34, of Northport, operating after suspension.
Jacob D. Holmes, 34, of Knox, inspection sticker violation (none).
Melissa A. Goldberg, 27, of Belfast, violating conditions of release.
