Waterfall Arts seeks volunteers
Belfast — Waterfall Arts invites anyone interested in volunteering to stop by any first or third Wednesday of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. Volunteer coordinators will be ready to talk about the many volunteer opportunities available at the Belfast location, 256 High St. Potential volunteers also may call to arrange for another time that suits their schedule.
Without the time and energy of volunteers, Waterfall Arts would not be able to put on exhibitions such as the recent “The War on Peace” featuring the works of Robert Shetterly, Alan Magee and Harlan Crichton; or the variety of programs, workshops, lectures and classes offered to all ages in the community.
Volunteers become part of the Waterfall Arts family and partner in the nonprofit's success. They meet like-minded people, expand their networks, build new skills, enhance their resumes and make a difference in the community.
Some of the opportunities open to volunteers include gallery greeting, program coordination, events, workshop and studio assistants, grant writing and research, exhibition support and more. For more information, contact Waterfall Arts at 338-2222, visit its page on Facebook and waterfallarts.org or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
