Wayfaring Strangers play Fraternity Village

Searsmont — Rose & The Wayfaring Strangers will play Saturday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fraternity Village Store, 12 Main St./Route 131. Their style of music ranges from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt to Merle Haggard, with a little bluegrass gospel thrown in for good measure.

Rose and Wayfaring Strangers features Kim Moran of Lincolnville on vocals, mandolin and flute; Doug Teel of Rockville on vocals and guitar; Ron Haven of Appleton on bass; Linda Stevenson of Warren on vocals and fiddle; Brian Veditz of Lincolnville on harmonica; and Rosey Gerry of Lincolnville on vocals, banjo, guitar and autoharp.

Rose and Wayfaring Strangers has performed up and down the Midcoast and enjoys seeing people participate during performances; the local musicians’ enthusiasm and mix of music are sure to have listeners toe-tapping and singing along.
