WBYA 105.5 FRANK FM radio tournament broadcast schedule

Bangor — After broadcasting a bundle of regular season and regional prelim playoff games, Don Shields and the WBYA, 105.5 FRANK FM radio crew will continue its high school basketball coverage with tournament games involving Eastern Class B high schools Oceanside, Belfast, Medomak Valley and Camden Hills.

The station will broadcast from the Bangor Auditorium beginning Friday, Feb. 15 when the quarterfinals get underway, and will carry those schools through to the state championship games Friday, March 1 in Portland.

The same as during the regular season, Shields, Terry Spear and Chris Seavey will bring fans the action during the 2013 tournament.

The radio station's tourney game schedule includes:

Quarterfinals

Friday, Feb. 15  at 4:45 p.m. — Belfast girls versus Nokomis.

Friday, Feb. 15 at at 6:30 p.m. — Oceanside girls versus Camden Hills.

Saturday, Feb. 16 at 4:15 p.m. — Medomak Valley boys versus Camden Hills.

Semifinals (if necessary)

Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1:45 p.m. … Oceanside, Belfast and/or Camden Hills girls.

Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 8:15 p.m. … Medomak Valley or Camden Hills boys.

Finals (if necessary)

Saturday, Feb. 23 at 1:45 p.m. … Oceanside, Belfast or Camden Hills girls.

Saturday, Feb. 23 at 3:30 p.m. … Medomak Valley or Camden Hills boys.

State championships (if necessary)

Friday, March 1 at 6:45 p.m. — Oceanside, Belfast or Camden Hills girls.

Friday, March 1 at 8:30 p.m. — Medomak Valley or Camden Hills boys.
