Feb. 25, 1853

More New Goods at Weatherbee's

Received in the past week, at Weatherbee's, a large lot of new and desirable goods, which he now offers at greater bargains than ever before offered in Belfast, and solicits the patronage, not only of all customers of his store, but of all others, both in the city and country, who are desirous of obtaining the most goods for the same money; and he pledges himself to sell his new goods as low as they can be bought at any store in the state, and the old stock at a great reduction on the original cost.

Feb. 25, 1909

Northport News

Miss Anna Dickey attended a term of ten weeks at the school at Saturday Cove maintained by Mrs. Henrietta H. White of Brookline, Mass., and taught by C. I. Chatto of Stonington, a student at Bates College. She was in her seat every morning, for the ten weeks when the teacher called the school to order, after walking 1 1/2 miles from her grandfather's, Mr. F. A. Dickey's and back, and some of the days were very stormy.

Bern Porter hosts Winter Open Hours at the Institute of Advanced Thinking, 22 Salmond St. from March 1 through March 15 from 9 a.m. To 6 p.m. All welcome. Bern Porter Exhibit on display March 1 through March 15 at the Belfast Free Library. Bern Porter Festival will happen from 2 to 11 p.m. On March 9. All welcome.
