Sacred Uproar will explore the great and timeless themes of liberal religion through music, story, spoken word and open discussion. Each show will offer the opportunity to deepen in perspective, and to see the world in new ways. The format will change from time to time as we find the balance between celebrating the beauty in the world and the artistic genius among us with the need to be a voice for the voiceless and to find inspiration to do the work of justice, becoming the change we want to see in the world. Building community together, even through radio, we can find, name and bring blessings into the world. Click here for past shows

We will also be hosting interveiws with members of the community and youth members. We will try to provide a perspective from the youth of our community, and also updates of our group. We are a youth group that supports gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, questioning, transgendered, allied, and intersexed young people aged 14-22 in the Midcoast area. Out! As I Want To Be meets every Wednesday evening from 5 pm untill 8 pm, and every Friday night from 6pm to 9pm. At the meetings we talk, laugh, share, cook and dine together. It is a place for everyone to be themselves in a drug free and welcoming atmostphere. During our show we will let people know more about what we do, and special events that we will be attending.
City Limits is a geographic, historical, and cultural exploration of our country’s many musical trends. Each month, we’ll spend time in one city, listening to the music and stories that have come out of that specific place, from the turn of the last century to now. One month we might be in Kansas City, learning about the birth of the Bebop jazz scene; the following month could take us to Minnesota’s Twin City punk scene of the early 1980s. Come along for the ride…
“Lyssa’s Wednesday Riot,” features your favorite punk rock, alternative and new wave anthems from Rockland to London and everywhere in between. If it’s underground and features an electric guitar, we’ll probably play it!
