Wildlife Rehabilitation Available in Thomaston Maine
Horse & Hound Veterinary Services offers FREE veterinary medical and surgical care to all injured wildlife. With spring comes the newborn baby mammals and birds. Do not be quick to grab up an infant. Take some time to watch and see if the animal's mother is close by watching her infants learn new skills or away briefly acquiring food. If a animal is found injured or an orphan is unattended for a long period of time, Horse & Hound Vet Services is willing to examine and rehabilitate this animal back into the wild. These wildlife services are FREE only requiring you bring the animal to us. TAKE CAUTION not to handle adult animals such as skunks, raccoons, foxes and such that may carry the Rabies virus. If necessary, use a broom or shovel to roll the animal into a trash bin and secure it tightly. For more information, please call 557-5669.
