Winter storm expected to bring 6 to 10 inches of snow Wednesday
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Wednesday, Feb. 5, with snowfall accumulations expected to be in the range of 6 to 10 inches.
According to the NWS forecast, snow is expected to begin falling early Wednesday morning and then continue throughout the day before tapering off in the evening. Travel conditions will become difficult at times due to reduced visibility of a quarter mile or less and snow covered roads.
Northerly winds between 10 and 15 mph are expected with gusts up to 20 mph.
Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-20s.
The winter storm warning is in effect from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
