Wagner Middle School students celebrated International Day, March 14, with visits and presentations from more than15 American Friends Service students. Wagner students had a great time learning about all their different countries and customs. The fourth-grade students from the Smith School were invited to attend also.

A meeting of eighth-grade parents to make plans for the Boston trip will be held Monday, March 18, at 6 p.m. in the Wagner library.

The Wagner Jazz Band will compete at the state festival in Westbrook on Saturday, March 23. Good luck to all the musicians.

The Wagner Show Choir scored a 91.5 in a competition held in Millinocket recently. On April 5 the Show Choir will be in state competition in Ellsworth. Good luck.

The school play is being performed March 27-29. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Wagner cafeteria. There will be an early dismisal on March 27.

A forum meeting is scheduled for March 20 at the Wagner cafeteria, for more discussion of the possibility of Frankfort joining SAD 22.

People, please check your flags. There are several that are quite tattered and torn because of the heavy wind storms of late. They should be taken down and replaced. Thanks from the American Legion members.
