Wyman's Boxing Club to put on card at Carrabec High School

North Anson — Wyman's Boxing Club, owned by Ken “Skeet” Wyman of Stockton Springs, will host a professional/amateur boxing bout at Carrabec High School in North Anson.

The event will be Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $20. There will be four pro and four amateur bouts.

Wyman trains three undefeated fighters and all three will be on the card, including Kermith “Bazooka” Gonzalez of Kissimmee, Fla., Brandon “L'Jack” Brewer of Prince William, New Brunswick and Brandon “The Cannon” Berry of West Forks.

Gonzalez, who made his professional debut at Searsport District High School in 2005, will fight a yet-to-be-determined opponent, while Brewer, who is the Canadian Professional Boxing Council (CPBC) Light Middleweight Champion, will face Jose Angel Ortiz of Worcester, Mass.

Berry, who turned professional in June, will face Josh Parker of Skowhegan.

Amateur bouts will include Wyatt Stearns of Monroe and Dustin Hedgpath of Prospect, who also will face yet-to-be-determined opponents. Also on the card is Shane Tinney, a North Anson native, who will fight Ernesto Ornelas of Brunswick in front of his hometown crowd.
