Yankee Clipper Pet Grooming has offered experienced, safe, and compassionate care for pets in Mid Coast Maine for over 30 years.We offer all breed pet grooming and specialize in cats and handstripping terriers. Mixed breeds are welcome, too! We are able to groom your pet according to the breed profile or create a unique look if you wish. We employ state of the art equipment and techniques to make your pet look and feel his very best. Our modern facility is climate controlled for your pet's safety and comfort. Good grooming combines knowledge, ability, caring, and art. 

We have a wonderful crew to serve your pet’s needs. Owner, Liz Czak has over 45 years in the pet care field and is a graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming. Liz has worked in grooming salons in Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Master Pet Stylist, Meritus, Daryl Conner has over 30 years experience and is certified by the ISCC. Daryl is a featured speaker at grooming seminars and has been published in numerous trade publications.  She is the co founder of a national certifying body for cat groomers. Prep Manager and Groomer, Cassie Carey, apprenticed here at Yankee Clipper and has become a first class groomer.  She has a natural sense of style and balance and has mastered the difficult art of scissoring.  She also has a gentle, compassionate connection with animals.  Our receptionist, Annette MacNair has an extensive training background having taught classes in Agility, Rally O, and Wag-It Games as well as competing in those events with her Golden Retriever, Grace, and new love, Julio, the Long Haired Chihuahua. She and Grace have won many titles and and a top 20 national award.
