Your Pet can be a STAR in the Humane Society of Knox County's 2013 Pet Calendar

Time is running out to get a photo of your beloved pet in the Humane Society of Knox County’s 2013 Pet Calendar.  Hurry! You only have until August 1st for your furry, feathered, scaly or finned friends to be featured in the calendar -spaces are going fast.  Our 2012 calendar was a huge hit and we are sure this one will be too!There are several opportunities to get your pet’s photo in the calendar.

The coveted calendar Cover Shot has already be sold BUT there are still a couple of Glamour Shots available where you will have the pleasure of seeing your pet’s full page sized photo for a whole month with accompanying sidebar story where you get to gush about your pet (just $200). We still have the very affordable Tail Wagger Shots too, (only $35), a photo featured on a month date space. All proceeds of the calendar go right back into the care of the 1200 plus animals we help each year.  Providing them with food, shelter, medical care and a second chance.

PLUS: with each submission you receive a complimentary 2013 Calendar to show off to your friends and family. They make awesome holiday gifts too at just $10 each. The Humane Society of Knox County was founded in 1989 to provide care, protection and loving homes for abandoned and homeless companion animals in the Mid-coast Maine area. The Society supports activities advocating responsible pet ownership and the prevention of abuse and cruelty, and it sponsors events and activities that promote the health and welfare of animals and demonstrate the benefits of the human-animal bond.  Since 1991, the Society has operated a shelter located on Buttermilk Lane in Thomaston.  The Shelter is open between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays.  The Humane Society of Knox County provides animal support services to the towns of: Rockland, Thomaston, Warren, Owls Head, St. George, Port Clyde, Martinsville, Tenants Harbor, S. Thomaston, Spruce Head, Hope, Union, Appleton, Montville, Cushing, Matinicus, North Haven, Vinalhaven, Stockton Springs, and Morrill.
