	        A mother and her young child went to Waldo County General Hospital Friday, May 11, to be treated for bite wounds they received after a neighbor's dog got loose as the child was playing outside.
Belfast Detective Sgt. Bryan Cunningham said the German Shepherd was roaming in the Harvey Road neighborhood unleashed after it escaped the grip of its owner, 30-year-old Phillip Knox.
