Three people hailing from different Waldo County towns were arrested by police Dec. 30 after the search of a Swanville home yielded marijuana, prescription pills, cocaine and more than $26,000 cash.

An ongoing investigation involving the Searsport Police Department and the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office prompted a search of Arthur Stevens’ Bings Boulevard residence in Swanville, according to a press release. The search warrant was executed at around 9:30 a.m. Dec. 30, resulting in the seizure of drugs and alleged drug trafficking paraphernalia, including more than three pounds of marijuana, cocaine and more than 500 prescription pills.

According to the press release, Stevens, 53, was charged with four counts of unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs, class B.

Also arrested during the search of Stevens’ residence was Alden Brown, 56, of Jackson. Brown was charged with one count of unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs, class B, and two counts of unlawful possession of schedule W drugs, one a class B and the other a class C.

In addition, Belfast resident Danielle White, 37, was arrested and charged with one count of unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs, class B, and one count of unlawful trafficking in schedule Z drugs, class D.

Police also issued a summons to an unidentified person at the residence on a charge of civil possession of a usable amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the press release.

In addition to the sheriff’s office and Searsport Police Department, the joint investigation included the Maine State Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
