“My Maine This Week,” a traveling photo exhibit from the Natural Resources Council of Maine, will be featured in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library, 106 High St., beginning Monday, Jan. 4.

The exhibit showcases photographs that have been sent to the Natural Resources Council of Maine from people across Maine and beyond as a way to show their love for our beautiful state. The NRCM’s weekly online feature accepts photographs, poetry and prose that highlight the beauty of Maine, experiences in the Maine outdoors or tie in to protecting Maine’s environment.

“My Maine This Week” appears on the organization’s Web site, nrcm.org. The Natural Resources Council of Maine is a nonprofit membership organization based in Augusta that works statewide for clean air, healthy waters, safeguards for Maine’s people and wildlife, forest protections and clean, renewable energy solutions. NRCM harnesses the power of science, the law and the voices of more than 12,000 supporters across Maine and beyond.

“My Maine This Week” will continue in the Kramer Gallery through Jan. 31.
