Charles W. Watson, 48, died unexpectedly Dec. 31, 2009, at his home in Edmunds Township, in the company of his fiancée, Roxanne McCaslin.

Charles was born March 3, 1961, in Weymouth, Mass., a son of Janet and Robert Webb of Monson, Mass.

Charles served in the Army. He was an avid outdoorsman, always finding peace in the quiet woods of Maine. He was a fervent dreamer, and pursued many ambitions. Always original and creative, he loved to play his guitar and used music to express himself when words alone could not suffice. But most important, Charles was a man of the Lord, and strove to seek God every day. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerard R. Blais and Esther C. Frost.

Charles is survived by his loving parents; grandparents, Stuart F. and Margaret D. Webb; five children, Charles and his wife, Elizabeth Watson, Barbara and her husband, Ernie Emerson, Gerard and his wife, Bridget Watson, Leah Watson, and Joel Watson; the mothers of his children, Mary Ellen McHugh and Brenda Auffrey; and five grandchildren, Kayla, Makayla, Isabella, Caleb and Hannah. He is also survived by his fiancé; and his best bud, Matthew McCaslin.
