Robinson Ballet, which holds some of its classes at the Belfast Dance Studio, will hold auditions for its spring productions Saturdays, Jan. 9 and 16 at 107 Union St. (above the Greyhound Bus terminal).

Performances of “Robinson Ballet Live 2010” and the children’s matinee program featuring the ballet “La Boutique Fantasque” will be presented April 2 and 3 in Bangor and April 9 and 10 in Ellsworth. There also will be school performances of the children’s program during the day on April 2 in Bangor. “Robinson Ballet Live 2010” will feature original choreographies by Keith Robinson, Terry Lacy, Stevie Dunham and Shana Bloomstein.

Auditions will be held Jan. 9 from 10 am to 11:30 a.m. for dancers age 10 through 14; and Jan. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for dancers age 15 and older. Dancers who do pointe work should bring pointe shoes.
