Wall Candy Designs by artist Chris Sumberg of Cornville are on view at The Working Art Gallery, 65 Main St. Sumberg’s medium is acrylic on canvas and her paintings are created by overlapping asymmetrical shapes and colors.

Whether her abstract work represents the memories of the Coqui frog in Puerto Rico, singing from sunset until dawn or simplicity and solitude found at the fishing camp she visits every summer with her husband, Sumberg’s work is always inspired by her love of the outdoors, her family and the sense of adventure and spontaneity she finds in traveling.

Working Art Gallery is exhibiting works of nearly 20 Maine artists. Media include oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, photography and sculpture. For more information, visit theworkingartgallery.com.
