An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following activity between Dec. 29 and Jan. 5.

Dec. 29

At about 6:20 a.m. Amanda Bunker, 27, of Swanville was driving east on Swan Lake Avenue in a 2003 Nissan when she hit a patch of ice under the snow, lost control and went off the road between a tree and a Central Maine Power pole. There were no injuries and damage to the car was estimated at $4,500.

Dec. 30

Danielle White, 37, of Belfast was arrested for violating condition of release and summoned for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

Dec. 31

At about 9:50 p.m. Scott A. Overlock, 21, of Pittsfield was traveling west on Shepard Road when he lost control on the snow covered road. The vehicle rolled onto its side, taking out a mailbox. Clark was summoned for operating without a license.

Jason M. Howie, 21, of Camden was arrested on a warrant.

Lucas A. Murdock, 32, of Belfast was arrested for violating condition of release and summoned for negotiating a worthless instrument.

Jan. 3

Cheryl A. Warren, 49, of Winterport was arrested for violating condition of release.
