For the first time ever, the Mount View Chamber Singers, under the direction of David Stevenson, and Chamber Singer alumni performed together on the stage of The Clifford Performing Arts Center at the new Mount View.

The Mount View Chamber Singers Reunion Concert held Dec. 22  at The Clifford Performing Arts Center raised a total of $4,130. Proceeds will support a fund to be established by Future MSAD 3 for the long-term maintenance of performing arts center.

An audience of 250 people attended the reunion concert that featured 36 Mount View alumni who performed with the 2009-10 Mount View Chamber Singers.

Before the concert, students and alumni were treated to a potluck dinner organized by Diane Blanchard and Julie Laliberte and featuring numerous dishes contributed by parents of current students.

Chamber Singers alumni had an opportunity to see the new Mount View and to reconnect with old friends and Mount View music director David Stevenson, who established the Chamber Singers 19 years ago.

Reunion Concert sponsors include Future MSAD 3, UniTel Inc., and The Republican Journal.
