An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following activity between Dec. 18 and Jan. 11:

Dec.18

Brianna E. Geary, 27, of Bangor was summoned for speeding for driving 71 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 1.

Paul J. Garelli, 53, of Thorndike was summoned for improper passing on East Main Street.

Dec. 19

Ethan K. Fink, 37, of Round Pond was summoned for speeding for driving 45 mph in a 25mph zone on East Main Street.

Dec. 21

Benjamin Shehan, 38, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant for violating conditions of release.

Dec. 23

Otto Proctor, 38, of Searsport was arrested on a probation hold.

Dec. 27

Paul M. Phillips, 25, of Bangor was summoned for speeding for driving 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

Dec. 28

Kristin M. McCormick, 19, of Troy was summoned for speeding for driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone on Back Searsport Road.

Sidney C. Harford, 46, of South Thomaston was summoned for speeding for driving 62 mph in a 35 mph zone on Main Street.

Jan. 1

Jenet Santos, 21, of Norwood, Mass., was summoned for driving to endanger.

Jan. 2

Shauna Butler, 24, no address given, was arrested for operating after suspension.

Keane Ripley III, 27, no address given, was arrested on a warrant for violating conditions of release.

Jan. 6

A juvenile was summoned for assault in connection with a Dec. 3 altercation at Searsport District High School. Police Chief Dick LaHaye said while the other student involved was not seriously injured, the victim was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated as a precaution.

Terry M. Ripley, 46, of Searsport was arrested for assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon after police were called to a dispute in progress at a residence on Mt. Ephraim Road. The dispute was reportedly between family members at the home, and resulted from a parent’s returning home to find an underage drinking party in progress. A 16- and 17-year-old juvenile were each charged with possession of liquor by a minor, as were 19-year-old Caleb Trundy of Lincolnville and 19-year-old Bernard Perkins, also of Lincolnville. No one was seriously injured during the dispute. The matter remains under investigation.

Jan. 8

Nancy J. Curtis, 50, of Waldoboro was summoned for speeding for driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

Jan. 9

Ryan J. Larravee, 33, of Stonington was summoned for speeding for driving 43 mph in a 25 mph zone on West Main Street.

Brian I. Doucette, 29, of Searsport was summoned for speeding for driving 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on East Main Street.

Carlton S. Munro, 18, no address given, was summoned for operating after suspension on Route 1.

Lloyd G. Killam, 27, of Searsport was arrested for aggravated assault in connection with an alleged incident that occurred Friday, Jan. 7. Police continue to investigate that case this week.

Jan. 10

Justin D. Henry, 20, of Thomaston was summoned for speeding for driving 45 mph in a 25 mph zone on East Main Street.

Stephen Paige, 59, of Searsmont was summoned for speeding for driving 45 mph in a 25 mph zone on East Main Street.

Jan. 11

Logan P. Achorn, 25, of Searsport was summoned for furnishing liquor to a minor following a police investigation regarding an underage drinking party that reportedly took place in Searsport July 12, 2009. A juvenile was also summoned for possession of alcohol in connection with the July incident.
